What is python and who invented it?
Python is a widely-used, interpreted, object-oriented, and high-level programming language with dynamic semantics, used for general-purpose programming. It was created by Guido van Rossum, and first released on February 20, 1991.

Why it was invented?
 It was mainly developed for emphasis on code readability, and its syntax allows programmers to express concepts in fewer lines of code.
